EU STRATEGY FOR TRANSPORT EFFICIENCY

Identify calls for proposals and match H2020 with planned activities.

By request from Closer, an international arena for research and innovation within transport efficiency, IMCG has provided business intelligence focusing on the EU programme Horizon 2020.

Closer is part of Lindholmen Science Park and constitutes an arena where academia, business and public authorities cooperate to increase transport efficiency. The goal is to strengthen the whole innovation chain from research and demonstration to complete services and products.

Within the assignment for Closer, IMCG identified relevant calls for proposals within the EU framework programme Horizon 2020, making a deep analysis of transport plans and strategies within mobility and transportation. The work also included identifying key areas that EU will focus on, areas not yet mentioned in the future Swedish strategies for the transport sector.

Closer aims to be a national resource that initiates and builds demonstration projects within transport efficiency and coordinates large-scale EU projects.
